How to read the boards
Rifles are ranked for a full buy against armored players. Sidearms are ranked for the pistol round and for saves. A lower tier can still be the right buy when you cannot afford the gun above it. Snipers are on the rifle board because they share the primary slot.
Which [UPDATE!] Counter Blox boards are on this hub?
Two jobs, two lists. Open a child page for the long table. This hub is the snapshot.
S tier
Player decision Default T rifle when you can also buy a helmet. Listed from $2,700 to $2,900.
Player decision Best pistol-round upgrade when you have the cash, and the pistol to keep beside a rifle.
Player decision Buy it when the angle is long, such as Dust II Long, and someone else can play close. Do not buy it with no armor.
A tier
Player decision T eco or close site hits. It shares attention with the CZ75 on T.
Player decision Default CT upgrade over the starting USP when you expect armored pistol fights.
Player decision Standard CT rifle if you want the larger magazine instead of the silenced M4A1-S.
Player decision Choose it over the M4A4 when you want a quieter hold and can live with 20/80.
Player decision Buy it when you will hold a scope angle and can pay more than an AK.
B tier
Player decision One close trade, then plan to reload or pick up a gun. A bad pull-out loses the round.
Player decision The cheap upgrade on a pistol round when a Deagle would leave you with no utility later.
Player decision A scoped hold when you already have armor. It is not an AK replacement.
Player decision Force or second-round buy when an AK plus helmet does not fit.
Player decision Eco or save rounds when you need a long angle and cannot buy the AWP.
C tier
Player decision Use it only if you will wait out the delay. The Desert Eagle is the more forgiving heavy pistol at a similar price.
Player decision A volume pistol, not a headshot pistol. Skip them if you can buy a P250 and a flash instead.
Player decision CT buy when you are short of an M4 and still want a rifle.
Player decision Only if you specifically want follow-up sniper shots and can float the price. The AWP covers the usual sniper job for less or similar money depending on which AWP price is live.
D tier
Player decision Keep it on the pistol round if you are saving. Replace it when you have $300 to $700.
Player decision Fine for the opening round. Buy a Five-SeveN or Deagle once armored enemies show up.
